Website Awards Program (WAP)

About the program

The FAAS Website Awards was established to honor member societies which create and maintain public websites to promote their society and the aquarium hobby.

FAAS Website Awards will be offered in four categories:
- Best Overall Society Website
- Most Informative Society Website
- Most Innovative or Unique Website
- Best Website as a Resource for the Aquarium Hobby

Timing
The timing and execution of the Website Awards may vary from year to year. Generally, society nominations are submitted in the spring and judging takes place in the early Fall.

Scoring
Judging is point-based.

Society websites are judged in six categories:

  1. Functionality
  2. Design
  3. Club Content
  4. Hobby Content
  5. Originality
  6. Professionalism and Effectiveness

Eligibility
Societies must be in good standing with FAAS at the time of judging to participate.
