Horticulture Award Program (BAP)
About the program
The purpose of this program is to recognize and encourage outstanding achievement in growing and propagating aquatic plants at a national level.
As with the BAP program, propagations and flowerings submitted to FAAS are certified by the local HAP chairperson as having complied with the rules and conditions of the local HAP. FAAS does not dictate how a local club should run its program but depends on the local HAP chairperson for compliance to rules applied at the local level.
Awards are issued for each of the following:
- Each 10 vegetative reproductions
- Each 5 flowerings
- Each sexual reproduction from seed to sport
