FAAS Programs

Note: We are currently evaluating the effectiveness of our programs. Our goal is to move as many as possible to self-service, web-based programs.

Breeders Award Program (BAP)
The FAAS Breeders Award Program provides recognition to individual society members who breed fish. It's hard to beat the beauty of a planted aquarium. Our HAP program awards individual club members who propagate aquarium plants.

Publication Award Program
Club newsletters are a great source of information for the tropical fish hobbyist. This program recognizes the hard work of society editors and writers.

Photo Award Program
Taking good photos of aquarium fish is harder than it appears! This program provide recognition for excellence in photography.

This award honors member societies and their webmasters who use the web to promote their society and the aquarium hobby.
