FAAS President Rick Borstein will be interviewed on May 24th on Blue Zoo Radio.

The broadcast will be recorded, so you can listen to it at a later time.

Good luck with the convention! I hope to be able to attend (or speak!) at one of these in the future.

Entries for the 2009 Publication Awards are due on February 28, 2009. We encourage all clubs to send in entries electronically.

There are no changes to categories, but we have made a few changes to the process:

   1. Updated Submission Form
We ask that you include your mailing address and additional info on the form.

   2. Updated Publications Award Guide
We've updated our guide to include more helpful category descriptions. As noted above, the categories have not changed.

   3. New Requirement: Submissions Manifest
The Submissions Manifest is a list of all your submissions by category. All your society's entries must be listed on this document. An Excel version is provided.

You can find everything you need on our How to Enter page.

See: http://faas.info/programs_pub_how_to_enter.htm

The Boston Guppy Club has an intranet built with GoogleApps.  Members can subscribe to various areas to receive an email with a link as soon as something new is posted or uploaded.  Having said this we are a new club with members primarily recruited via the web so they are for the most part technically proficient.

Our society (GCCA) went this way. We're still figuring out how to distribute the pub securely.
